Spines are clotheless hybrids who walk on their hands with a large sharpened spine sticking straight up like a scorpion tail and spikes running from the base of it on the under side to their necks.
A Spine's only attack is to hit you with their sharpened spine like a scorpion tail. Notably, they have a larger radius than most hybrids while still maintaining a small hitbox, so the player can be close enough to get hit, but not close enough to hit them. Spines will often take 2-3 hits from an old axe to kill, but will likely do significant damage during that time, so high damage weapons or ranged weapons are recommended.
